There are several options, depending on particular needs.
From Rijeka you can catch the hovercraft or coach.
The world's oldest operating ferry boat 'Marina' connects the island with
Zadar and Pula, cities on the mainland. Ferries operate daily from Brestova
in Istria and Valbiska, Krk. Once they get you across, you find yourself
in the island Cres which is connected to Losinj by a small bridge.
There is also a small sports airport for those who like to be flown in
on smaller aircraft.
