Losinj aquatorium has lots of small islands and rocks. The waters are plentiful in fish and other marine life and are home to 120 dolphins. They are protected and studied by a local research center.
On the other hand, Cres is home to Bjeloglavi Sup, the biggest European eagle, and tourists are wellcome to visit their reserve.

One of the curiosities is the absence of poisonous snakes on both islands. Finally, the air is rich in aromatic scents due to enormous diversity of plant life, which resulted in the well known medical facility for pulmalogical treatment.
Nevertheless, an early morning stroll along the sea can have a soothing effect on the healthy individuals just as well.
